Aetherly Figures is a collaborative character design project developed with music producer Flucky. The work focused on creating the main protagonists for an upcoming music video two parallel digital entities designed from scratch to inhabit a shared audiovisual world.
The project evolved through multiple meetings and continuous dialogue, shaping the identity of the characters from early sketch development to full 3D realization.
The workflow began with foundational sketching exploring posture, silhouette, and presence. From there, the development extended into detailed costume design and full 3D modeling.
Both characters were designed in parallel, allowing their identities to evolve in relation to one another. Every decision from body structure to garment construction was intentional and narrative-driven.
The clothing played a crucial role in defining their psychological and spatial background. Rather than functioning as styling elements alone, the garments became extensions of character identity, revealing atmosphere, mood, and world-building context.
The aim was not only to design visually striking figures, but to construct layered personas capable of existing within a cinematic digital environment.
Through form, fabric, and silhouette, the characters communicate their backstory blending fluid, ethereal qualities with grounded masculine presence.
Aetherly Figures reflects a merging of digital character design, fashion sensibility, and music-driven world-building.
